Shipping

Orders are always shipped at the first opportunity. If an item is not in stock it may be necessary to order that item from one of our suppliers before it can be dispatched. In which case delivery's can be delayed. If we are unable to supply items you have ordered due to them being out of stock we will contact you. We will do this to inform you the items are out of stock and reassure payment has not been taken. (It is our policy not to charge for goods until stock has been confirmed). We also do this to see if an alternative item would be suitable.


We can deliver to most addresses worldwide.  Shipping charges and times will vary depending on location.  The next day delivery service is available for mainland UK addresses only. Additional charges will apply to Scottish Highlands, some areas of mainland Scotland and Channel Isles.

Goods can be delivered either to your home address, a work address or to an alternative address. Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail or a reputable courier and a signature is required for all deliveries. On all occasions the safest and least expensive method will be offered.  If your order contains more than one box the individual boxes may, on occasions, be sent on multiple dispatches. When you add products to your shopping cart the appropriate charge will be added automatically.

We aim to despatch all on line orders placed before 1pm on the same day. Any order placed after 1pm may still be dispatched on the same day, but this cannot be guaranteed, in which case it will be dispatched the next working day.  In some cases same day dispatch may not be possible due to no stock. Day of dispatch will be provided to our customers, and where delays are expected, we will advise. 

Delivery times are calculated in working days – i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In the case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days. From the receipt of your order we will endeavour to deliver your chosen items to you within 4 working days providing the goods are in stock. Most deliveries ordered before 1pm will be next working day.  In some cases parts can take longer but this will be communicated to you. Deliveries to non-UK Mainland or remote locations may take longer. 

On receiving your order and shipping method you will be advised of shipping times, and on dispatch of goods from Bram Racing you will be given a tracking number to enable you to track the goods.  On occasions, shipping may come direct from the manufacturer for your convenience (less shipping time / less expensive) and it may not be possible to track your order in this case, although if you require this contact us and we will track the order for you. 

Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery. Goods delivered by courier should arrive between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are out when the courier arrives the Courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange re-delivery.  In some cases this may incur an extra charge.

Upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. If the package does not appear to be in good condition then please refuse the delivery.

Rates are based on the actual weight of a package.  Any fraction of a kilogram over the chargeable weight shown takes the next highest rate.

Order Cancellations

You are free to cancel your order at any time and for any reason before it is dispatched. On telephone orders we do not take payment until the moment of dispatch and so refunds are not normally necessary when a telephone order is cancelled.  For online orders, payment is taken automatically, therefore a refund will take place before dispatch.   To cancel your order we need explicit instructions from the person who placed the order either by email or by phone.

 

An order may not be cancelled after it has been dispatched or while it is in transit, but must be treated as a return. In this eventuality a refund will be provided when the goods are returned to us.  See below for Order Returns.

Order Returns

The vast majority of returns fall into one of four categories, each of which must be treated in a slightly different manner:

-       Unwanted or otherwise unsuitable goods

-       Damaged or defective goods

-       Broken goods under warranty

-       Incorrect goods dispatched

Unwanted or unsuitable goods:                                                      

You are free to return unwanted goods in new & unused condition for 30 days after delivery. You will be entitled to your choice of an exchange or a full refund to the original payment card. The customer must meet the cost of returns postage for unwanted goods. We cannot accept responsibility for goods in returns transit, and so we recommend that you use registered post or an otherwise insured method (courier).

Any unwanted goods may incur a handling fee by the customer of 10% upon return.

Damaged or defective goods on delivery:

You are free to return defective goods in new & unused condition up to 30 days after delivery. You will be entitled to your choice of an exchange or a full refund to the original payment card. Bram Racing will meet the cost of returns postage for defective goods. We can arrange for a courier pickup of the goods or we can refund your postage expenses (whichever is the lesser cost) upon return delivery. Please note that the warranty given by both Bram Racing and the manufacturers of our products will only cover parts. Labour charges and other costs are not covered.

Broken goods under warranty:

Where applicable, details of manufacturer’s guarantees or service arrangements will be provided with the product. After sales service and warranty/guarantee claims will initially be dealt with by Bram Racing. This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the Supplier, failure to follow the Supplier´s instructions, or any alteration, modification or repair carried out without the Supplier´s approval.

All goods have a minimum 1 year manufacturer's warranty (unless otherwise clearly indicated). You are free to return broken goods under a warranty claim for the full warranty period after delivery. Your goods may be repaired or replaced, or you may be offered a refund, depending on the decision of the manufacturer. We will send the goods to the manufacturer for assessment but the final decision lies with the manufacturer and you may have to wait for their tests to be completed. The customer must meet the cost of returns postage for warranty claims. We cannot accept responsibility for goods in returns transit, and so we recommend that you use registered post or an otherwise insured method. Please note that the warranty given by both Bram Racing and the manufacturers of our products will only cover parts. Labour charges and other costs are not covered.

Any items which are returned under the warranty and are found to be in a working condition will be charged a testing fee of £10 or 10% of the value of the goods, whichever is the greater

Incorrect goods despatched:

Occasionally the wrong item is sent to a customer by mistake. You are free to return these goods in new & unused condition up to 30 days after delivery. You will be entitled to your choice of an exchange for the correct item or a full refund. If you have been mischarged, we will correct the discrepancy. Bram Racing will meet the cost of returns postage for defective goods. We can arrange for a courier pickup of the goods or we can refund your postage expenses (whichever is the lesser cost) upon return delivery.

 

IMPORTANT:  Exchanges will only be made where the same item is available in stock at the same price as the original. Items bought at special offer prices cannot be subsequently exchanged for identical items on sale at higher prices. If an item is not available a full refund may be the only option.

 

All goods must be returned in new & unused condition unless a warranty claim is being made. We reserve the right to refuse returned goods if necessary.

Reasons may include:

Where a full refund is the suitable course of action we have a statutory obligation to refund payment to the card used to pay originally within 30 days of the return of the goods. However, as customer service is our priority we will refund your money as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: A refund may take up to 10 days to appear on your statement after it has been authorised.

Exchanges Procedure

If you are returning goods for an exchange we would normally have to wait for the goods to arrive with us and inspect them before we can send out the replacement. However, we recognise that sometimes an exchange must be made quickly and so we may send out a replacement immediately. We must take payment for the replacement but as soon as the return arrives we will give you a refund on that cost.

If an item is to be returned Bram Racing are happy to work with your own collection services or to arrange collection for you.  In some cases there may be a handling or packing charge subject to order.  Please check when arranging.
